Ahhh...a new year brings on a new sense of style for Atlanta fashionistas. But after months of hibernating behind Burberry scarves and ankle boots, where's a girl to start?

This season, you'll see the return of Rome, gladiator style. Celebs all over, from Mary Kate (or is it Ashley) Olsen to Nicole Richie have been sporting the infamous gladiator sandals and this trend is sure to continue throughout the summer. After hitting up DSW and having no luck getting back to my medieval roots, I managed to browse my way over to Piperlime, where Dolce Vita's version came in pewter for $60. Not feeling so financially risque' for Rome? Check out Ebay and type in "gladiator sandals." Color ranges vary, and you can find yourself a pair for as little as $10.

How about a little flirt in your skirt? This season you'll also see romance brought back into feminine fashion, with soft, cool-colored fabrics, and sundresses that yell, "Oh, I'm just a girl, please." Gap has taken this trend to the next level, providing Atlanta with the prettiest, reasonably priced flirt fashions in the city. Check out their delicate Crochet Dress for $69.50.

Finally, the grass is greener on the other side of Spring, as green surfaces as Spring 2008's new "it" color. Just check out Banana Republic online, and you'll see enough green to make a leprechaun envy you.
