Jay Swift, known for his contributions to Rainwater and South City Kitchen, puts a modern twist on American comfort cuisine. Located in the historic Old Fourth Ward the space is delightfully contrasted with elements of luxurious fabrics and exposed brick. The kitchen is buzzing with action as can be seen by floor to ceiling glass doors. The simple dishes here are seasoned to perfection and all organic. The scallops are amazing and served over a bed of sweet corn risotto that is good enough to order one to go. The wait staff at the newly opened spot is attentive and informative. This restaurant is truly a winner. A must dine!
