Noon - Need to do a little holiday shopping? Now is the perfect time to do it! The city not only has wonderful malls such as Lenox Square and Perimeter to do your holiday shopping, they also have great boutiques as well. Make a fashion stop by Sugar Britches for a great variety of both men and women's fashion, or Dress Codes for the most up-to-date looks in denim fashion, edgy blouses and trendy t-shirts.
Afternoon - Now that you have your gift giving out of the way, its time for some fun! Go to Centennial Olympic Park for the Holiday In Lights and Ice Skating Rink. Every year the park is beautifully decorated and the city's only ice skating rink is erected. A waving snowman welcomes everyone to the park and there is a perfectly placed tunnel of lights over International Boulevard.
After all of that shopping and ice skating, you are sure to have worked up quite a hunger by now. Figo Pasta located in Midtown is a great place to stop and have a bite to eat. The cuisine is cheap and flavorful, with pasta dishes that vary from flavorful to eclectic.
Evening - For the last stop on this holiday tour, head to the Atlanta Botanical Garden for the Holiday in the Garden. The Holiday in the Garden sparkles with lights and other holiday decorations. There is a train ride and a holiday Botaniclause. It's a perfect place to go with a date or to end the night with family.
Happy Holidays!
