Michel and Tonya Arnette of Haven

Michel Arnette has been shaking up the Atlanta restaurant scene for over 18 years, and with the tremendous success of his first restaurant, HAVEN, he is excited to launch his newest concept Valenza Restaurant, an upscale Italian eatery.

Arnette began his career in the restaurant industry with Buckhead Life working at Pricci as head server and trainer. For five years, he trained new employees and assisted in the full service operations for this upscale Italian restaurant. Recognition of his dedication to fine dining came quickly, and he was acknowledged with a promotion to Manager of Pricci and then Veni Vidi Vici..

Michel was then asked to take over as General Manager of the Buckhead Diner. During his six years with this establishment, he garnered attention by dramatically improving service and delivery with his trademark polished, professional and personable dining experience.

Deciding to embark on an independent venture, Michel and wife Tonya opened HAVEN in November 2003.  The urban, loft-style design concept has amassed quite a loyal following and has allured restaurant critics across Georgia.  Most recently, HAVEN was featured as one of the top 10 restaurants in Georgia by Jezebel magazine and was also applauded for serving the best appetizers and having one of the most attractive staffs.


Supported by the dynamic following that has made his first restaurant such a success, Arnette puts his best foot forward with his newest door, Valenza.
